Strawberry & Lemon Custard Tart

Yesterday I got a sudden craving for something sweet, fruity and ridiculously indulgent and this Lemon Custard Tart recipe was the perfect solution. I had picked up some fresh strawberries at the Bouqueria and modified the recipe by smothering the tart with sugared strawberries after the custard had set. The result was a savory 'summery' tart and since this was my first time making anything with custard, I was surprised to learn how quick and easy it was to make.
